The threequel to the popular tower defense game took four years to complete.
Electronic Arts and PopCap announced the release of Plants vs. Zombies 3. The project received the title Welcome to Zomburia. The game will be released in the UK, the Netherlands, Australia, the Philippines and Ireland before the end of 2024.
The pre-alpha version of the threequel was released in 2020 and met with a great deal of criticism. As a result, the launch was delayed. After a protracted overhaul and several upgrades, it appears like the game will still be launched.
A narrative-based technique that will be divided into episodes is called Welcome to Zomburia. The developers claim that the gameplay will be exactly the same as it was in the first installment. Due to the visual aesthetic and the lack of significant changes from the original game, the audience first reacted to the project with disinterest.
